About me
Hi, I'm a long-time educator interested in creating more joyful schools in forms that look different from what we are used to. I love sharing and learning about Project & Place-Based Learning, Leading with Joy, Design Thinking, Storytelling, Thoughtful Tech Integration, and anything else that can help us rethink structures and systems to honor the experiences and the humanity of students and adults who work in schools. I have been a classroom teacher, school leader & district leader in public, independent, and international schools. Based on Kauai, I currently spend my time designing provocative & action-oriented professional learning that honors teacher expertise and amplifies missing voices. I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations and a Master's in Education I also have an Ed.D. in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University.
