I believe that projects are one of the most powerful levers we have for equity and deeper learning. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked as both a teacher and school leader, using project-based learning to build more just, engaging, and human-centered schools. For six of those years, I supported visionary school founders across the country through the New School Creation Fellowship, helping them design and launch schools that disrupt systems of inequity. Today, through my work with the Center for Love & Justice, I partner with school and district administrators to shift systems and create the conditions where deeper learning can thrive.
