When I walk into schools today, I see generative AI on the agenda everywhere, with leaders still trying to figure out what to do. As a professor at the University of Kentucky and director of the Laboratory on Design Thinking, I help them navigate this new world. I'm on a team building a large language model that makes public data much easier for teachers and communities to actually use.
