The growing disparity in wealth and power necessitates a new breed of leaders—those who prioritize societal and environmental well-being over profit. This workshop follows the work of two unique programs - one in Silicon Valley, California and the other in Bogota, Colombia - that are training high school students as social entrepreneurs. A student representative from each program will share their experience growing a business for social good from scratch, then participants will be guided through their own needfinding exercise to kick off their social entrepreneurship journey! As educators fostering a commitment to social responsibility, we ensure that future leaders use their influence for positive change.
