Mission statements are the most valuable asset a school creates. Too often they go stale or new mission initiatives don’t elicit real change. How might we consider mission alignment with what’s really happening in our schools as a means to move towards best practices for present and future learning?  
In this session, you’ll utilize critical thinking with your organization’s mission by asking questions of purpose, evaluating organizational structures, and analyzing mindsets. Using collaborative protocols, story telling, and data you’ll cultivate a vision or action plan in service of aligning your mission with professional development, school culture, programming, school improvement strategies and pedagogy, turning your mission statement into a dynamic, active part of your community.
