This digital program is for all things DL2025! You may select your sessions starting March 12th at 5pm PDT.

You will need to select one Workshop Round 1 or Den Talk [for Day 1], one Deep Dive session [for Day 2], and one Workshop Round 2 or Den Talk [for Day 3]. These sessions have capacity limits and will fill up.

Building Rigorous Learning Experiences with XQ Competencies

In this interactive workshop, participants will discover how to design project-based learning experiences that are deeply connected to student growth, rigorous academic content, and essential skills for the future. Using XQ Competencies and the Competency Navigator, educators will engage in a dynamic design sprint that enhances their existing pedagogical approaches and integrates research-backed approaches for enhanced teaching and learning. This session will help educators unlock new pathways for creating interdisciplinary projects that not only align with standards but also deepen student engagement and critical thinking. Attendees will leave equipped to implement high-impact PBL that fosters student agency, collaboration, and mastery of academic, cognitive, and social-emotional skills.
