English-only policies can harm students. Educators must disrupt these harms and create nurturing spaces where students can be their authentic selves, using their full linguistic repertoire. This workshop explores dynamic translanguaging practices and pedagogy that foster multilingual ecosystems. Participants will reflect on their own linguistic histories and challenge biases that impact instructional design. We will examine strategies for integrating translanguaging into curriculum and instruction. Educators will leave with tools to disrupt harmful language policies and build inclusive spaces that honor students' linguistic diversity, creating classrooms where multilingualism is celebrated and all students feel valued.
