Explore the ways that music and art can help us challenge our biases, envision a more liberated world that works for more people, and inspire us to show up not just as educators in this work, but as creatives committed to social justice for all people. As educators, our work always in one way or another, touches the deepest and most pressing issues of our time. In this session, analyze some bars written by Lizzy Jeff through a critical lens with facilitator Carolene King, hear Lizzy Jeff perform the music in our intimate setting, and then collaborate with other educators to create some poetry or music that addresses the issues you are most passionate about addressing in your practice as an educational leader.
