Interdisciplinary learning fosters creativity, critical thinking, and real-world connections. Designing interdisciplinary projects involves creative approaches and an open mind to how and where content and skills might overlap. In this deep dive, educators will explore effective practices for designing and facilitating interdisciplinary learning experiences. With a community partner engaged in conservation, preservation, and restoration, we will experience a trans-disciplinary approach firsthand. This collaboration will provide a model for integrating multiple disciplines and inspiring new ways to bridge various subjects into the classroom curriculum.
