As educational leaders, we are always creating the path as we walk it; it is the nature of working in the complex systems of schools, districts, and organizations. This is especially true when leading the critical work of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice & Belonging (DEIJB), which, in practice, is all the work we do. In this current moment when DEIJB work and our most marginalized students are under attack, courageous leadership is more urgent than ever. The majority of folks who are tasked with building, transforming, and nourishing communities of learning hold the dominant racialized identity of Whiteness. Consequently, White leaders must continually do their own anti-racist work while simultaneously leading others along that same path.  This Deep Dive, for educators who identify as White, is organized to acknowledge both layers of leadership so that participants will learn and reflect for themselves, and then immediately apply and plan how they will lead others through this critical moment.

Lunch is included in each deep dive.
