Thursday April 3, 2025 9:30am - 2:45pm PDT
Imagine a world where art ignites passion, learning spaces are equitable, and every voice is heard! Let’s turn that vision into action! In this Deep Dive, we will explore how art can be used as a powerful tool for advocacy, tackling the question: How might we use art as advocacy to convince a politically polarized society that equitable, student-centered learning environments benefit students, schools, communities, and the world? Participants will engage in an examination of art-based advocacy, chat with working teaching artists about their experiences, and collaborate with colleagues to create collective art installations. Join in as we innovate and reimagine education, leveraging the transformative power of art and advocacy to inspire change and foster a more equitable and vibrant educational landscape!

Lunch is included in each deep dive.
